Stacia Lynn

Abandoned Heart- Unrequited Love

She walked along an empty street;
The darkness of night blanketing her soul.
Left destitute and depleted.
Once full of life;
A heart that beat strong
With passionate love,
Was now barren.
Exhausted, from the existence
Of a tragic romance.
She bestowed every depth of her being;
Extending her hand-
Finding an unanswered reply.

Her love overflowed
Into a vacant wasteland of idle words.
Foolishness, Foolishness
She cries;
To give herself away
To an idle n’ inexpressible rendezvous.
Intimacy proved-
Fruitless, Temporary, Forgotten
After the door shut behind him.
So, her heart bleeds
With every abandoned step;
Mixing with the tears
Of unrequited Love.

Twisted Mind Of The Raven

I feel you lurking around every corner
Spinning your twisted mind’s reel
Thoughts consuming only, you
Though perceived by those affected
By your ravenous selfish words.
You are the Raven, and I bid you flight
To torment only your own soul
I pray not for another to be trapped
By your luring words full of untruth.
Fly into the depths of your created cloud
So dark where no other is harmed by your claws
That dig deep into vulnerable kind souls
Giving light from the One who made it so
On the first created day of seven,
In which He was pleased, to perceive as “good”
Good you are not, but blackness surrounds
Staining your being with all that is unpleasant
So, I declare, to you, black Raven
Return to your home, you created below.

Angel Of The Night

She lights up the darkness
With her melody.
The barren surroundings
Await her grace,
And longs....
For her music in the night.
Her being lingers with each delicate step
Purposed, though unplanned
Through the ravenous forest,
Casting a night glow upon the path.
A brilliant glimmer of incandescent light,
Aluminates tiny flowers
Like the finest diamonds.
She is a creature of comfort
Between the setting
And the rising
Of the sun.
Providing peacefulness
During the black clouds
At midnight.
A hope when perception
It is obscure.
Her melody Is filled
With solace compassion,
Bringing repose to the torment
Of the surrounding darkness.
She is the radiant angel of the night…

May the heavenly light, which burns from within,
Always illuminate your path.
Brightening the beauty which surrounds you
Providing comfort for your soul,
Upon the darkest paths.
When the light shines through,
From the rising sun,
Or blankets the ground,
With hues of golden orange arrays,
May your steps be firm.
Stride with confidence; traversing the journey
With everlasting hope.
Blanketed in serenity and peace,
Knowing God is there,
Guiding your way.
Illuminating clarity
When your path becomes obscure.
Making visible, your direction,
On a cloudy day.
